Mark Rothko's color field paintings inspired me to create this abstract oversize wall art. They are known for their simple composition and power of influencing emotions. The way in which I blended deep blue and white reflects the movement of stormy wind and the rough ocean. Coarse texture adds character to the whole. The piece will look best in a white frame.

The wall art is fully handmade, painted with acrylic paints on cotton canvas, varnished, signed, and dated. I use only high-quality materials which will allow you to enjoy your wall art for years. I offer free shipping worldwide, the painting comes wrapped in a tube (hanging upgrades available in the 'UPGRADES' section). You can customize the size to fit the painting into the wall in your living room, bedroom, or dining room. I add 4 inches (ca. 10 cm) extra so you can easily wrap the painting around the frame.
